Luan Gallery will participate in Creative Ireland's national celebration of Cruinniú na nÓg on Saturday, 15th June.  Cruinniú na nÓg is an annual national day of free creative activities for children and young people under eighteen. It is an initiative by Creative Ireland to encourage children to engage with the arts and local art centres.

Luan Gallery is proud to participate in this annual celebration. It will host a children’s tour of its current exhibition, Apocalypse Anxieties, followed by a sustainable printmaking workshop with local visual artist Hilary Kinahan.

A guided tour of the current exhibition at Luan Gallery, Apocalypse Anxieties, with curator Aoife Banks, starts at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, 15th June. Throughout this tour, children will be encouraged to engage with the artwork and gather inspiration for the artwork they will create in the workshop. Following the tour, Westmeath-based visual artist Hilary Kinahan will lead a sustainable printmaking workshop, where children will learn how to create original artworks using sustainable fine art print methods.  This event is suitable for children aged eight to twelve and will finish at 2.30 pm.  Booking is essential as spaces are limited. To book, please contact Luan Gallery at 090 6442154 or email info@luangallery.

Luan Gallery’s current exhibition Apocalypse Anxieties will continue until Thursday, 27th June.  Luan Gallery is open Tuesday to Saturday from 11.30 am to 5 pm and from 12 pm to 5 pm on Sundays.  Admission to Luan Gallery is free, and guided tours are free to all but require advance booking.

More information on the exhibition and upcoming events can be found at and on Luan Gallery’s social channels.
