Now & Then, Here & There; The Work of Eoin Butler at Luan Gallery

This exhibition of works provides a fascinating survey view of Eoin Butler’s work. Butler paints plein air landscapes, nudes and portraits. His paintings pay particular attention to their place in art history.
Eoin is a formidable figure in art education and an inspiration to countless graduate artists. Butler graduated from the National College of Art, with a Diploma in Painting in 1965 and an MA in Fine Art in 2004. He was the Head of Dun Laoghaire School of Art and Design in 1971. He also worked as a Senior Lecturer in Art at St. Patrick's College of Education, Dublin.
The exhibition opens on Friday 07th December at 6pm with a wine reception, to which all are welcome. The exhibition continues to the 09th of February 2019.
Luan Gallery is open Tuesday – Saturday from 11.00 – 17.00 and Sundays 12.00 – 17.00. The gallery is closed on Mondays.
Luan Gallery is delighted to welcome schools and groups for talks and tours throughout the exhibition run. Guided tours are free of cost and are available on request to all.
